This guy seriously should have asked for help.

Ironically, my first thought after reading this was, "Breeze is kinda a cool name"

My second thought was, "NOT ok dude."

My third thought was, "I guess he set the bar low. Won't be hard to out romance that."

My fourth thought was, "She said yes? Dumb."

Well, Congrats and good luck Breeze and Man who's name begins with a D.

Danielle Black Loves Christmas Music

This blog is dedicated to Danielle Black seeing as she is my biggest fan and she introduced me to this Christmas cheer.

This is Danielle and I back in the day when she had dreads. How i miss those times.

But, this blog isn't about Danielle (Although I should upload the tribute video called "Platinum" that my friend Chels and I made her soon) this blog is strictly about Christmas music!

I have a few facts I would like you to know about the holiday music and those who sing it to us. Here they are, in no matter of importance. In fact, most of these facts aren't important. We all need to fill our mind with non-important things on occasion and now is as good a time as ever.

1. Amy Grant has released FOUR Christmas albums. four. 4. quatro. And one of those included an album featuring her greatest Christmas hits. I didn't even know that was possible. However, I think the greatest Christmas hits cd is a good one to get. There are some good songs on there! "Do you remember me? I sat upon your knee..."

2. Contrary to Pandora's belief, Josh Groban does not = Christmas. Even though I immediately click the "thumbs down" button, Pandora still sees it best to play a Josh Groban Christmas song every 20 minutes. Lay off it!

Maybe Pandora is secretly run by Josh and even though you try your best to stay away from him and his belty voice, he sneaks one in on you. Now, if he comes on while I listen to my GaGa station, i will send a complaint.

3. Mariah Carey has a ridiculous amount of Christmas music videos. I really don't see this necessary. Maybe one per cd. (She has 2 cds by the way. And the cover of each of them look very similar. Don't you think?)

Maybe it is just the poses. Anway, she has a Christmas music video for the following songs: "All I want for Christmas", "Miss you Most at Christmas", "O Holy Night", "Oh Santa!" "O Come All Ye Faithful/Hallelujah Chorus".

And those are just the ones my Youtube kept suggesting. Gee lady!

4. What do the three Christmas songs "Winter Wonderland", "Jingle Bells", and "Sleigh Ride" have in common?
Answer: None of these songs mention Christmas.
I learned this from a Christmas trivia sheet I grabbed that ended up being a tract. The last question was like "What is the real reason for Christmas" and then the answer sheet gave me a prayer to pray so i could repent my sins. Sneaky Christians sucking me in through my love of trivia competition.

*note- If you are a tract hander outer please do not be offended. I myself am a Christian. But you have to admit, tracts are sneaky.

Well, those are 4 facts you now that you might have not known before. Lucky you! I'm going to go eat a Christmas tree cake now.

Black Friday Ads

Does the Target lady bother anyone else?

I don't know if it is the outfit, the facial expressions, or just the feeling that she has had one too many Red Bulls, but I am NOT a fan of this commercial.

Target usually has some of the better ads out there. Their creative ideas exceed the need for humor. From seeing this years ad, it seems they should stick to the feel-good commercials they are best at.

Here is one of Target's better ads from the past.

Regardless, I will be paying a visit to Ye Olde Target on Friday...but not because of the current ad. I want this to be VERY clear. It is because Target has all 10 seasons of Friends on sale for $10 and I want season 4...and maybe others depending on my monetary self control.

My favorite Black Friday ad this year is from Old Navy.

GOBBLEPALOOZA!
And you can learn the dance on this website. The perfect way to bring in the holidays.

Well, Happy Thanksgiving to you all! And if you go shopping Friday, good luck!

Oh traveling

I recently traveled to the most Magical place on earth. I will blog about my adventures and post pics, but I seem to have lost my camera. Until then, here is a comic from oatmeal.com about the joys of flying.

Dopplegangers

I am a big fan of finding dopplegangers for people. Whether it is finding a stranger on the street that highly resembles a best friend of mine or locating their ever popular celebrity match, I am always on the lookout for a good doppleganger.

Through my years of face comparison, i have noticed there are two people I always seem to compare those I meet to most. So here are, in my opinion, the two most dopplegangerable people in the world!

1. Charlie Bucket.

Not Freddy Highmore, but the original, emotional eating, bubble sneaking, golden ticket finding Charlie Bucket. Charlie is an average kid. Kinda grungy, i mean all four of his grandparents do sleep in the same bed (is that not weird to anyone else?), so we wouldn't expect him to be as dapper as Augustus Gloop . I think Charlie has that everyday hero quality. That typical American (although I'm sure there are some comparable Swedes and Brits) boy look. I guess that is why he is so comparable.

2. Slugworth.

I don't know what it is but for some reason my top two most dopplegangerish people are in Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. I didn't even own this movie for the majority of my life. I guess we can just thank ABC family for playing it so often, on the weeks they aren't playing Mrs. Doubtfire.

Anyway, Maybe it is Slugworth's glasses. Or the intensity of his face. Either way, Slugworth is one comparable villain (i guess technically he is a faux villain but you get the point).

The only bad thing about these people being the most dopplegangerish people is that no one really wants to be compared to them. I recently met someone who resembled Slugworth , and in my best interest I didn't tell him "You know you look like Slugworth...Arthur Slugworth." It doesn't seem to be a good icebreaker.

So, next time you are doing some face comparison watch out for the Charlie Buckets and Slugworths. They're EVERYWHERE.
